Cody Burgener

Cody Burgener has been around fitness since the day he could walk. Growing up in a family the competed in Olympic weightlifting, fitness was a part of his life from the get go. His father, Mike Burgener (Coach B), taught Cody at a young age the fundamentals of the olympic lifts. He took the knowledge from his father, and has passed it along to athletes of all levels. Cody is also a former collegiate baseball player from the University of Sioux Falls, while earning his degree in exercise science. After college, he started getting into the sport of Crossfit. He competed with Team Invictus (second team) in the 2013 regionals, where the ended up getting 10th overall. Now a days you can either find Cody at a gym or a fire station. He is a firefighter for Prince William County, Virginia.
